Human Resources Administrator
Responsible for human resources information including record keeping, reporting and information management systems. Administer the agency benefit plans, including FMLA, ADA, and COBRA compliance. Maintain personnel files, records and other documentation, which will also include performance review system. Monitor compliance with federal and state (Delaware) employment laws as well as compliance with contract, licensing, and accreditation standards. Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of payroll and benefits programs and client service. Supervise the payroll function, develop and implement systems which begin with employee on boarding through payroll processing. Administer Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment Compensation programs. Supervise staff.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or an applicable major; and/or a minimum of three years related experience in a business environment with knowledge of wage and hour law, and payroll/benefit administration and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Previous supervisory experience required. Experience with Paychex or other electronic human resources and/or payroll system. Full-time (37.5 hours/week) with benefits.

Delaware Stars Program
Early Childhood Education Technical Assistant
Provide quality improvement technical assistance strategies to the early childhood and school age childcare community as part of the Delaware Stars program. Knowledge and/or experience in family child care, centers, preschools and school age care with familiarity of DE state regulations on child care, required. Bachelor degree in ECE or related field, required; Master degree preferred. Knowledge and/or experience in specific areas such as infant/toddler curriculum, school age and administration, desirable. Must have strong interpersonal skills, understanding of the adult learner, excellent written/ verbal communication and organizational skills with ability to work independently. Development
Special Events Coordinator
Responsible for the planning and execution of series of professional events designed to raise unrestricted dollars for the agency in support of the agency’s funding needs & goals, increase awareness of Children & Families First among current and new supporters, identify and cultivate prospects for individual giving and corporate support. Develop, plan and implement agency special events, fundraisers and "friendraisers," making effective use of best practices around sponsorship solicitation, targeting appropriate audiences, volunteer cultivation and management, and board engagement. Conduct research, make site visits, and find resources to help staff make decisions about event possibilities. Plan for and handle all event logistics including negotiations for space, arranging food and beverage, ordering supplies and audiovisual equipment, etc. Serve as liaison with vendors on event-related matters. Assist with preparing event budgets and provide periodic progress reports to Chief Development Officer. Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting. Coordinate with Data Coordinator, Public Relations, Marketing and Design Coordinators utilizing their skills to aide in preparing and executing events, as well and reporting results following the events. Develop a network of support in the community through participation in various committees, chambers, networking groups, etc. Develop sponsorship request and manage sponsor relations. Provide assistance and support to downstate special events, in coordination with Sussex Development and Special Events Coordinator.This position requires attention to detail, excellent organization, effective research, writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and meet deadlines. This position works closely with other staff in a team environment; therefore, the ability to work cooperatively in such a setting is essential. Bachelor’s degree, fundraising and/or event-planning experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Requires working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office software; experience with Raisers Edge or other fundraising or grants management system, a plus. Some state-wide travel required. Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation, required. Part-time (30 hours/week) with benefits.

Fund Development Coordinator
Responsible for the development and execution of a focused, strategic approach to individual giving as well as grant-writing and reporting in support of the agency’s funding needs & goals. Develop and implement strategies to build the agency's annual campaign through individual gifts, and identifying and developing major donors. Develop and implement a cultivation strategy to ensure positive communication with current and prospective donors. Develop relationships with current and new funders in support Children & Families First. Identify potential funding streams and grant opportunities. Develop and submit identified grant applications, and submit high-quality, responsive grants and proposals. Identify annual programmatic/capital/operating funding needs. Create a reporting timeline for all grants and contracts, and provide regular updates and reports to funders. Assist with coordination and production of performance and other reports to various funding sources or monitoring groups as requested.

Early Childhood
Infrastructure Fund Program Coordinator
Administer the Infrastructure Fund for Early Childhood, to include outreach to the provider community, technical assistance to providers, and administration of grant awards. Work with Delaware Stars, Office of Childcare Licensing, Purchase of Care, the Office of Early Learning and others to identify early childhood programs in need of support for quality improvement through facilities and/or technology enhancements. Recruit programs to participate. Assist programs to identify how Infrastructure Funds can help them move through Star Levels and/or achieve licensure. Provide technical assistance to programs to help them submit successful applications for Infrastructure Funds.
Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with 3-5 year’s of related experience, required. The Eastside Community School, located in the Eastside of Wilmington, is seeking Delaware Certified Teachers for grades K-2 and grades 3-5 to work as needed/substitutes with children for the after school program.
Provide careful supervision of children to ensure their health and safety that meets the health and safety standards outlined in the Delaware State Licensing requirements. Adhere to appropriate standards for children’s behavior, using non-punitive methods, which teach self-discipline while supporting children’s self-esteem. Implement planned and spontaneous activities. Maintain an open and cooperative relationship with parents. Relay program information to parents in person, via letter or phone. Clinical Director
Seaford House, a residential and day treatment center in southern Delaware, is seeking a licensed mental health professional (psychologist, counselor, social worker) to assume Clinical Director responsibilities working with adolescents, primarily with emotional/behavioral problems. Provide individual, family, group therapy and basic assessments. Responsible for oversight of clinical programming, implement evidenced based treatment models, carry a small caseload, supervise other clinicians, model strong character qualities, exhibit creativity and a positive outlook.
