At any given time, there are more than 500 children in Delaware in need of foster parents to guide and nurture them while they are temporarily separated from their birth families. ​

 

Choosing to become a foster parent is a big decision - and you deserve to be informed and supported. That's why we provide the tools, training, supports, and services you need to feel confident and capable of providing excellent care.

Taking the first steps...

Choosing to become a foster parent begins with gathering all the facts you need to make an informed decision. In addition to reviewing the information below, there are three ways to guarantee all of your questions are answered.

Fill out an interest form and one of our specialists will contact you.

Attend an information session. Held the 3rd Wednesday of each month promptly at 6:00pm via ZOOM.  Sessions are FREE, open to all, and no registration is necessary. Use this link to join: https://bit.ly/fosterachild

  • Attend a 1-hour Information Session
