INTERVENCIÓN DE TRAUMA EN LA ESCUELA
Children & Families First offers school-based therapeutic programs for children ages 5-18 who have been exposed to stressful and traumatic events. Research has shown that children participating in Trauma Intervention programs have significantly fewer symptoms of post-traumatic stress and depression.
By providing services to students in a school setting, obstacles such as transportation, schedule conflicts, and stigma related to mental health are removed. Services are offered at no cost to the students' families or school.
